What are the Traveling Sparkle Skirts?
The Traveling Sparkle Skirts are a pair of Team Sparkle Running Skirts (one Hot Pink & one Turquoise) that travel the globe spreading the Team Sparkle love. (Read the Traveling Sparkle Skirt Stories HERE.) To be eligible to receive one of the Traveling Sparkle Skirts, you must:
- Wear it in a race of your choice (5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon, Marathon – sorry, no walk-a-thons). If you are new to running, this race should be a new distance for your, or you must be trying to set a new PR (personal record). If you consider yourself a runner, any race is fine, just make us proud.
- Intend to run the entire race (even a slow, slow, slow jog is a run). Unless you are a trained “run-walker” then we can discuss.
- Be willing fill out a Team Sparkle questionaire after the race & send us a great picture of yourself to be posted on the Team Sparkle website.
- Be willing to ship the skirt (via Priority Mail, approximately $5) to it’s next race destination, as early as the next business day, after your race.
Just a bit of fore-warning, The Traveling Sparkle Skirts have a certain magic about them (as do all of the Team Sparkle skirts). But, the Traveling Sparkle skirts have an extra bit of umph! which comes from traveling from woman to woman. We understand that it is likely that you will become attached, even sentimental regarding the Traveling Sparkle Skirts. However, the skirt(s) themselves are not available for purchase. It is this very attachment & sentimental feelings that give the Traveling Sparkle Skirts that extra umph!, enabling the Traveling Sparkle Skirts to continually motivate & inspire women of all different ages, shapes, size & ability to pull on their skirt & let out their inner sparkle.
